Late!

So I've spent most of my week swamped with job-scouting and a different time-consuming little drawing, so there wasn't an alphabet-related update ready for friday. Here's a little sketch to try and fill the empty spot (in my heart.)

Creature sketch 1

A little late-ish update- just a little creature design sketch. Really something I've wanted to do for a long time (I think Pokemon at an early age just had that effect on me...)
I spent so much of college trying to push myself out of the comfort zone that I totally forgot just how much I enjoyed doing this. I think a lot more of this will be done, now :]

The letter T

His colours didn't turn out as I exactly wanted D: This was one of my first tries with gouache. It's amazing how differently that medium dries - It becomes almost 50% lighter and way desaturated. I'll edit the post in a bit to show my colour studies. This is gonna be re-done in acrylic like I did with The letter A. The whole project is supposed to focus on colour schemes , so accuracy is really important!


There! The studies are on the left and my final decision is below. Pretty different from the finished image, even after I altered it in photoshop!
